Nanometer-sized particles of metal-coordination supramolecules are attractive to explore, as their unique properties are controlled by the large number of surface molecules, which experience an entirely different environment than those in a bulk crystal. In this review we try to offer an extensive report on nano metal-organic coordination polymers (MOCPs) synthesized up until now. Here, nano-MOCPs are categorized based on their respective morphologies. Furthermore we endeavor to offer some perspective on the applications of different nano-MOCP synthesis methods and their influence on morphology and particle size.
