In this study, we demonstrated the surface reaction in a LiCoO2/Li cell under high voltage condition and characterization of the composition and properties of electrode-electrolyte interface by 2D correlation analysis. 2D Raman correlation spectra revealed that the extraction of Li+ leads to the formation of surface components including Li2O and Co3O4 and structural distortion in hexagonal LiCoO2 structure.
