Graphene supported PdCu bimetallic nanoparticles were synthesized through coreduction of PdCl2 and CuCl2 center dot H2O. X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron (XPS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were performed to characterize the structures. The complex could be used as an efficient catalyst for reduction of nitroarenes to the corresponding anilines in the presence of NaBH4 and recycled up to six runs without significant loss of activity.
