A simple and efficient method is described for aminocarbonylation of aryl, benzyl, and styryl iodides and bromides using the in situ generated molybdenum tetracarbonyl norbornadiene [Mo(CO)(4)(nbd)] complex as a suitable source of carbon monoxide. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
