In this study, a deposited Ti substrate was orderly assembled with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and graphene oxide (GO) sheets by way of self-assembly. The top layer GO sheets were reduced via hydrothermal route. Chemical characterizations, including XPS, FTIR and UV-vis analysis, together with AFM morphology investigations were implemented and results proved that the obtained coating was successfully prepared on Ti substrate, with a highly deoxidation effectiveness for GO sheets. Nano-tribological investigations including adhesion force, friction force and wear tests indicated that the coating behaves as an effective anti-friction and anti-wear coating for the substrate.
