We attempted to develop a stable radiolabeled transferrin (Tf) useful in experimental studies related to Tf receptor. Ga-67 and In-111 were used as labeling radioisotopes. The results from gel chromatography, dialysis, and electrophoresis showed that In-111-DTPA-Tf was the most stable among the radiolabeled Tfs examined in the present study. In-111-DTPA-Tf was also the most stable radiolabeled transferrin in the blood.
