A numerical experimental technique is used to study the dependence of the density of methane on the width of slit-shaped pores in activated carbons in connection with the problem of adsorption concentration of methane. It is shown that the density and, accordingly, limiting adsorption of methane at the given micropore volume are maximal at a pore width of 1-1.1 nm.
