We prove that for a general Calderon-Zygmund operator T the numbers parallel to T parallel to(Lp(w) -> Lp(w)) converge to parallel to T parallel to(Lp(dx) -> Lp(dx)) as the A(p) norm of w converges to 1, i.e. as [w](Ap) -> 1(+) for 1 < p < infinity.
