For the first time, the propagation rate coefficient lip of acrylonitrile has been determined in a broad temperature range in propylene carbonate solution via the pulsed laser polymerization size exclusion chromatography technique employing a high frequency pulsed laser system. k(p) was determined to fit the Arrhenius relation In(k(p)/L mol(-1) s(-1)) = 14.42 - 1855K/T.
