Summary: In this study, a novel picorna-like virus named Cheilomenes sexmaculata picorna-like virus 1 (CSPLV1) was identified in the ladybird beetle Cheilomenes sexmaculata. CSPLV1 belongs to the unclassified group closely related to members of the family Solinviviridae.
