Fast-timing measurements were performed in the region of the medium-mass Cd-103,Cd-105,Cd-107 isotopes, produced in fusion evaporation reactions. Results on new and reevaluated half-lives are analyzed within a systematic study of transition rates. The 7/2(1)(+) states in Cd-103,Cd-105,Cd-107 are interpreted as arising from a single-particle excitation. The 9/2(+) states configuration assignment is based on the observed decay branches.
