We report detailed magnetic, transport, and thermodynamic properties of metastable Rh3Bi14 single crystals in a superconducting and normal state. We show that Rh3Bi14 is a nearly isotropic, weakly to intermediately coupled BCS superconductor, whereas the electronic resistivity above superconducting T-c = 2.94 K is dominated by the phonon scattering in the large unit cell with pores filled by Bi atoms. Superconductivity is strongly influenced by the nature of atoms that fill the voids in the crystal structure.
