Two new cicadas, Euterpnosia latacauta (type locality : Heping, Taichung, Taiwan; type deposition: National Taiwan University (NTU)) and E chishingsana (type locality : Mt. Chising, Yangmingshan National Park, Taipei, Taiwan; type deposition: NTU), are described and diagnosed from related species. Calling songs for these two species were also recorded for further comparison.
