Scintillation characteristics of single crystals of CsPbCl3 were studied including photoluminescence, radioluminescence due to X-rays and gamma-rays, alpha/beta ratio, and rise time and decay kinetics. The light yield of 415 nm emission peak should be larger than the obtained value of 320 ph/MeV for X-as well as gamma-rays if the small transmittance of the present crystal should be improved in the future. We obtained the alpha/beta ratio similar to 0.44, the rise time (10-90%) similar to 97 ps, the e(-1) decay constants of tau(1)-300 ps for the 45% of the light intensity and tau(2)similar to 5.6 ns for the rest of 55%.
