Thermosensitive magnetic liposomes (TSMLs) that serve as carriers for controlled drug release are fabricated. The TSMLs are stable below 39 degrees C and most drugs (5-(and-6)-carboxylfluorescein: 68% and doxorubicin: 90%) release within 1 h at 42 degrees C. Furthermore, TSMLs could deliver the anticancer drugs into cells to induce cell apoptosis.
