A new agaric species, Mycena moconensis, is described from Paranaense Rain Forest, Argentina. This species is characterized by small bicoloured basidiomata with yellow to orange yellow or golden pilei and magenta to purple stipes, pip-shaped spores, and spinulose cheilocystidia and pellicular hyphae.
