Megasporoporia minuta is described as new from Guangxi Autonomous Region of southern China, and an illustrated description is supplied. The species is characterized by an annual to biennial habit, small pores (6-8 per mm), cylindric to oblong-ellipsoid basidiospores (7.7-9.7x3.6-4.9 mu m), and by the lack of both hyphal pegs and dendrohyphidia. The relationships between the new species and related species are discussed. The knowledge of Megasporoporia is briefly discussed, and an identification key, including spore dimensions of each species, is supplied.
