In this article, an innovative indoor repeater antenna with high isolation is proposed. The necessary impedance bandwidth is obtained using the coupling between the main and parasitic patches. A high isolation between transmitting and receiving antennas is achieved using metamaterial. The fabricated indoor repeater antenna has a VSWR less than 1.5, a gain higher than 9.6 dBi, and an isolation between the transmitting and receiving antennas greater than 80 dB over the WiBro band from 2.3 to 2.5 GHz.
