Sodium di hydrogen phosphate doped glycine phosphite (NaDP-GPI) single crystals were grown by Sankaranarayanan and Ramasamy (SR) method. The crystalline qualities and structural perfection of the grown crystals were identified using different X-ray techniques. The optical properties and micro-hardness studies of crystal grown by SR method have been analyzed. The results of all these characterizations are discussed in detail. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V.
