Polyaniline (PANI) nanocomposites containing gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) dispersed on reduced graphite oxide (RGO) were chemically prepared in the presence of 2-naphthalene sulfonic acid (NSA) as a dopant. The surface morphology of the synthesized composites was studied using transmission electron microscopy. Room temperature I-V characterics and magnetization data of the composites were also investigated. The increase of the AuNP-RGO content resulted in the significant increase in magnetic behavior and conductivity of the composites. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
