The effect of super gravity field on the structure evolution of electrodeposited NiW films was studied. The results indicated that with the increase of gravity coefficient (G), W content in NiW films was increased and grain was refined. The critical atomic percent of W for the transition from crystalline to amorphous structure was reduced obviously under super gravity field. In addition, the cracks in the surface of films produced during electrodeposition process under normal gravity field also can be avoided under super gravity field. The structure evolution of electrodeposited NiW films may be ascribed to the enhanced micro mixing and rapid disengagement of hydrogen bubbles from electrode surface under super gravity field.
