Belonia and Pachyphiale were recently shown to be nested within Gyalecta. Here, new combinations and names are introduced for species earlier classified in Belonia: Gyalecta calcicola (Walt. (for Belonia arctica Lynge), G. mediterranea (Nav.-Ros. & Llimona) Baloch & Lucking comb. nov., G. nidarosiensis (Kindt) Baloch & Lucking comb. nov., G. pellucida (Coppins & Malcolm) Baloch & Lucking comb. nov., G. russula (Korb. ex Nyl.) Baloch, Lumbsch & Wedin comb. nov., G. uncinata (P. M.
