The article has investigated the regularities of flocculation in water and water-salt media in the mode of free (unnatural) sedimentation of the titanium dioxide suspension in the presence of poly-N-benzyl-N, N,N-dimethylmethacryloyloxyethylammonium chloride. Treatment of the kinetic curves involving flocculating activities made it possible to assess at the quatitative level the impact on the flocculating indicators of the concentration and the molecular weights of the flocculants and the mode of introducing a polymer and an electrolyte.
