In the present article, thermo-mechanical vibration characteristics of double-orthotropic nanoplates embedded in elastic medium are investigated based on nonlocal elasticity theory. This system consists of two orthotropic nanoplates bonded by an internal elastic medium and surrounded by external elastic foundation. Nonlocal governing equations of motion for the system are derived and solved analytically. The suggested model is justified by a good agreement between the results given by present model and available data in literature. The effects of temperature change, scale coefficient, stiffness of internal medium and aspect ratio on the frequencies of the double-orthotropic nanoplates are also elucidated.
