Hollow mesoporous silica nanoparticles (HMSNs) with the diameter in range of 100-500 nm and the wall thickness of about 50 nm were synthesized by templates of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide under the assistant of microfluidization technique. These HMSNs were demonstrated effective drug loading and a pH-responsive drug release.
