We report FTIR measurements of the line broadening and shifting coefficients in the fundamental and first overtone absorption bands of HCl and HBr in mixtures with oxygen and synthetic air. Most of the data for HBr and the overtone of HCl are believed to be published for the first time. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
