Multiple-shape memory effects (SME) from dual to quintuple are realized in PMMA/PEG semi-interpenetrating polymer networks containing broadened glass transition and crystalline segments, which provide multi-gradient glass transition temperatures and an additional melting temperature as transition temperatures for multi-step shape fixation and recovery in a single shape memory cycle. Especially, the quintuple-SME is achieved in polymeric material for the first time.
