A sandwich device fabricated with light sensitive organic molecules shows excellent dynamic random access memory and excellent electro-optical switch behavior with high ON/OFF current ratio (10(9)) and long-term stability under continuous stress. We envision this type of organic molecules will be an important alternative to the traditional materials for electronic applications.
