The's aim of the present study was to investigate the potential of nanoemulsions for transdermal delivery of celecoxib. The prepared nanoemulsions were subjected to different dispersion stability tests and characterized for morphology, viscosity, droplet size, and refractive index. The in vitro skin permeation profile of optimized formulation was compared with celecoxib gel and nanoemulsion gel. Significant increase in permeability parameters was observed in nanoemulsion formulations (p0.05). These results suggest that nanoemulsions are potential vehicles for improved transdermal delivery of celecoxib.
