The nonlinear longitudinal wave equation, describing the propagation of optical solitons in magneto-electro-elastic circular rod, is investigated analytically. Two integration tools that are traveling wave hypothesis and G/G expansion scheme are recruited to extract explicit soliton solutions. The existence conditions are derived.
