Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry has been used to study the impurity composition of high-purity hydrogen sulfide. Impurities of atmospheric gases, COS, CS(2), SO(2), benzene, toluene, thiophene, and its homologues have been detected. Detection limits of impurities are 10(-7)-10(-5) vol %.
