On the synthesis of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) by reconstruction method based on the memory effect

This letter summarizes the literature data on the synthesis of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) in order to demonstrate that the preparation by reconstruction method is not based on the memory effect but it is simply a direct synthesis of these attractive solids.
