A Cd(II)-based MOF (Cd-TTPBA-4) with sra topology is constructed by a tetra(1,2,4-triazole)-functionalized-bis (triphenylamine) ligand (TTPBA-4) showing two types of 1-D channels with partial channel walls built from columnar stacks of non-coordinated triazole-terminated arms. Particularly, it constitutes a rare example of MOF-based luminescent sensor for aqueous selective detection of NZF (nitrofurazone) and NFT (nitrofurantoin) antibiotics.
