[(Cu3TbIII)-Tb-II(L-Pr)(NO3)(2)(MeOH)(H2O)(2)]-(NO3)center dot 3H(2)O is a rare example of a 3d-4f single-molecule magnet prepared using a macrocyclic ligand: at low T, it exhibits frequency-dependent alternating-current susceptibility, indicative of slow relaxation of the magnetization.
