This research work was aimed to study the synthesis of colloid silver nanoparticles mixed with polypropylene (PP) and an additive to make a silver nanomasterbatch, to clarify its efficiency against bacteria, and to investigate the mechanical properties of PP/silver nanocomposites. The results of toxicity tests showed that the silver masterbatch and the silver nanofilm produced were nontoxic to human cells.
