A simple and benign procedure for the synthesis of aryl allyl ethers has been developed using phenols, allyl acetates, and magnetically recyclable silica-supported palladium catalyst in water; the performance of the reaction in air and easy separation of the catalyst using an external magnet are sustainable attributes of the reaction.
