A new isoprenylated flavone, artopeden A (1) was isolated from the barks of Artocarpus champeden (Moraceae), and the structure was elucidated by NMR spectral analysis. Artopeden A (1) showed a potent antiplasmodial activity with an IC50 of 0.045 mu g/mL against Plasmodium falciparum 3D7.
