The direction I took was a bit off, and many people didn't understand it. Regarding the neurobiological mechanisms of brain-machine interfaces and mind control, I submitted to many journals. The basic situation was that most reviewers couldn't understand it. Later, I found out that this journal had published relevant articles before, so I submitted it. After 30 days, I received the result and the editor asked me to supplement the experiment and resubmit it. The experiment was not very difficult, just some staining of slices and so on. I supplemented it and sent it back in 30 days. It was returned for minor revisions, which took 10 days to complete. They asked me to change the format, and after I made the changes and submitted it, it was accepted in two days. It took a total of 126 days, which is considered fast. This journal is well-established, and the editors are very professional. The key is that they can understand it. It's not easy for them to understand my article. Overall, I feel that this journal is fast and professional, and the editors have a high level of autonomy. It's worth submitting to, but of course it needs to be aligned with the journal's focus, otherwise it's not easy to submit.

Both submissions in 2020 and 2022 were excellent. The first review result was received in about one and a half months for both submissions, and both were conditionally accepted. The reviewers' suggestions were pertinent, and they had a positive evaluation of the articles. The editor mentioned that making slight modifications according to the reviewers' suggestions would enable the submissions to be accepted.
