Submitted in early July
Received major revisions after 28 days, with four reviewers, three of whom provided comments, mainly on experimental rigor (setting new ground truth, adding new criteria), and requested the addition of comparative algorithms (added 4 new ones). Some suggestions were made for the algorithm (tried several improvements based on suggestions, but no improvement in performance, explained in the response and discussed in the main text).
Submitted revised manuscript within 3 weeks
Accepted after one month, all three reviewers expressed satisfaction
A few days later, sent the paper materials, but received an email after about a month saying they did not receive the materials...probably due to the attachment being too large (40MB), resend
A few days later, early access, then proofreading and payment
Overall, the process was fast and the experience was good
