A doctoral article comes to an end, the most serious one written in five years, and also the longest review period. It is in the field of environmental economics, studying the policy errors of the linkage between water and air pollution control.

There were only three reviewers in total, with an average review time of four months per round. It was exceptionally slow. I sent emails to the editor in between, but received no response. The outcome turned out to be good. I wish CER (possibly a journal or organization) success in the future.
