How do I urge a manuscript submission?

xuqewwq 2023-03-30

Wow, as soon as you urged for the manuscript, the speed suddenly became faster.

米糖咖啡 2023-03-29

On March 29th, in the morning, remind to submit the manuscript; receive at noon (submit the final version of the minor revision).
Cost: 1950 US dollars.

rrrrs 2023-03-28

Timeline:
First review: 50 days with one reminder, three submissions, rejection and resubmission allowed.
Second review: 16 days with one reminder, acceptance.
Publication within one week after payment, can be paid with someone else's credit card.
Personally, the review process feels slow, and the feedback provided is not helpful, purely for the sake of publishing.

rrrrs 2023-03-28

Yes, it is mine.

HFLaaaan 2023-03-25

I submitted it 8 months after being employed, but they haven't sent the payment notice yet. Anyway, it's not urgent.

On the day of submission, the manuscript is "under review." May I ask, does sending an email during the "under review" period to inform the start of manuscript review mean that it has already been submitted for review?

好难过xcx 2023-03-22

May I ask how long it took to assign an editor? It has been my 8th day and it is still "Under Review" without receiving an email about editor assignment.

好难过xcx 2023-03-21

May I ask how long it takes to assign an editor after submission? It has been a whole week and I still haven't been assigned an editor. Only the manuscript ID was assigned on the day of submission. My senior told me that this journal is usually fast, but what's the situation now? It's so slow.

May I ask how long it takes for everyone to be assigned an editor after submitting an article? It has been a whole week for me and I still haven't been assigned an editor. Only the manuscript ID was assigned on the day of submission. My senior told me that this journal is usually fast, but what is the current situation? It's so slow.

What is the general process for submitting contributions?

def_zhangaa 2023-03-20

In addition, rejecting an article and resubmitting it actually means a major revision. Now even the trans journals under IEEE operate in this way. (Personal opinion, for reference only)

def_zhangaa 2023-03-20

I think it is still a very good journal. My research areas are very broad, and there are very few people in China who are working in this field. Because it is a comprehensive journal, it can match reviewers that are suitable for my research. Compared to submitting to other journals where the reviewers may not be a good match, I have been continuously explaining my ideas during the revision process.

12.10 First submission
12.25 Under review
1.10-2.10 Five reminders
2.10 First round of revisions, one acceptance and one rejection with encouragement to resubmit. Added an experiment and provided a detailed response of 18 pages, more than my actual manuscript.
2.20 Resubmission
2.24 Reminder
2.25 Under review again
3.6 Reminder
3.7 Another rejection with encouragement to resubmit. Mainly because the number of reviewers increased from 2 to 6, with three acceptances, two encouragements to resubmit, and one acceptance. Frustrating.
I gave up directly. What's the point of paying for a journal that takes money even after six reviewers have finished editing? Maybe it's because I pushed too hard? I sent reminders 8-9 times in total.

renesmeeswan 2023-03-07

I previously rejected it and made revisions based on the opinions of two reviewers (I revised very seriously, answering and making changes to every opinion seriously). After that, I resubmitted it with language and grammar edits from a language polishing company (because one reviewer said my language was not good).
Submitted on February 16th. Accepted on February 28th.
It can now be viewed on early access, but it does not have an index yet.
My level is average, but I write diligently.

鲁岳阳光 2023-03-07

It took 2 and a half months for the first review reply. There were two reviewers, one accepted and one requested minor revisions. The rejection encouraged resubmission, but in the second review, I had six reviewers, three accepted, two encouraged resubmission, and one rejected. I feel a bit unjust.

2.11 Submitted, Under Review
3.6 Urgent Request, Feedback: undergoing the peer review process

阿鲁巴之王 2023-02-12

11.11 submitted
11.11 under review
12.4 rejected
12.29 resubmitted with revision
12.29 under review
2.6 accepted

People who have chosen to submit to this journal surely know its characteristics, so I won't go into it again. One of the reviewers chosen by the editor was quite absurd, with five misspelled words in their three comments. It seems that they were not very serious during the review process.

Additionally, if the manuscript has been under review for more than 4 weeks, you can consider sending an email to the administrator to inquire about the status of the manuscript (implying a request to urge the editor to provide review comments).

P图不至于,画图可能质量不高是可能的,一些细节没画好吧,这个确实是水刊,但是水的是创新度之类的,想水的可以水。

Translation: It's not necessary to edit the picture, but it's possible that the quality of the drawing may not be high. Some details may not have been drawn well. This is indeed a "water publication," but it refers to the level of innovation. If someone wants to take it lightly, they can.

Cs.... 2023-01-10

I've also been waiting for two months already, with no results.

路漫漫 2023-01-09

This journal is indeed very efficient, providing a short review period for reviewers, which is relatively good.

Quen 2023-01-05

When did you all receive the transfer notification? I have already submitted my proof for several days but have not received the transfer notification yet.

JS_XXQ 2023-01-05

Don't worry, the self-citation rate of this journal has decreased now.

akining 2023-01-05

Is it possible to have an early warning this year? I just read a really alarming article.

balaa 2023-01-04

The OA cost has changed to $1850. The submission was made in April and went through 3 rounds of revisions. The reviewers in the first and third rounds were more understanding, with the third round being the final round. One of the reviewers in the second round was unintelligent and did not understand my paper at all. They kept insisting that the language was not good enough and did not provide any specific points for improvement. After polishing and making significant revisions, the paper was finally accepted in December.

akining 2022-12-30

Can I ask if it is possible to pay someone else's credit card fees?

qwefshrvct 2022-12-28

From 22.9.1 to 22.12.28, it took 4 months and underwent 3 rounds of revisions.
The reviewers were very meticulous and provided detailed and valuable suggestions for revisions.
For example,
The Introduction abruptly begins with a summary of the methodology, which is odd. Please write a few paragraphs to provide motivation and then state the objectives.
On page 2, second column, lines 55-57, where you wrote: "The main contributions...". The two points mentioned are more like conclusions rather than contributions. You should phrase it something like (example wording, content not shown).

ljr 2022-12-28

Still in Zone 3, both major and minor are in Zone 3 for computer science. The minors for power electronics and telecommunications are also in Zone 3. The minor for computer information systems remains in Zone 4, unchanged from last year.

akining 2022-12-28

Can anyone check the latest classification of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS)? What zone is Access in now?

Windy 2022-12-22

The primary reason for submitting to this journal is that the boss does not have better articles and is willing to invest money. The acceptance rate is very low, and the review process is also fast.
