Aims and Scope

Journal of Vibration Engineering & Technologies provides a medium of communication among scientists and engineers engaged in research and development in the ﬁeld of vibration engineering. It features original papers, in-depth reviews, experimental tests and results, design ideas and application papers of direct relevance to the industry. The journal promotes the objectives of the Vibration Institute of India for creating better awareness about the beneﬁts of vibration analysis in assessing machinery health.

From February 12th to June 18th, I submitted the manuscript and received feedback. There were four reviewers, three of whom agreed to accept it, while another one rejected it with an invalid reason (presumably without carefully reading the paper). The objections raised by this reviewer contradicted the points supported by another reviewer. I completely have no interest in this journal anymore. It took so long for them to reject it, and the reason they gave is absurd. I truly appreciate your irresponsibility as a reviewer.

From submission to acceptance, it only took two months, which was very fast. The review comments were provided within one month by two reviewers. One reviewer recommended publication after revisions, while the other rejected it. However, the editor provided feedback for revisions and the results were quickly returned after the modifications were made. Only one sentence was changed in the second round of revisions, and then it was directly accepted for publication.
