This is my first article in this magazine. I had previously submitted a few times without success, so I am quite happy that this time it was accepted. I am very grateful to Weiguo Song, the editor. Feel free to cite "Strategies for enhancing the perylene diimide photocatalytic degradation activity: method, effect factor, and mechanism" (DOI: 10.1039/d0en01245a).

2.24 Minor revisions.
2.25 Minor revisions completed.
2.28 Accepted.
From submission to acceptance, it took three months, which is neither fast nor slow. It was relatively lucky, and the editor, Susana Loureiro, was relatively fast in processing.
