Aims and Scope

Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine (RCM) is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary scientific and open access journal, which publishes review papers, research articles and other types of research in both cardiovascular medicine and cardiovascular disease.

RCM aims to provide a forum for publishing papers which explores the mechanisms by which all risk factors promote the pathogenesis and progression of cardiac and vascular disease and provides an interdisciplinary platform for the advancement of research and clinical treatment and diagnostic procedures. Furthermore, the journal addresses a multidisciplinary audience consisting of cardiologists, nutritionists, endocrinologists, physiologists, and general internists. If it does not meet the taste of the magazine, it will probably be rejected within 5 days. If it is sent for external review, the initial review will take about 2 months. There will be a major revision and a minor revision. A polishing agency was recommended, and after the revision, the magazine editor made several modification suggestions and made two more revisions. The efficiency of the magazine's response is relatively high and it can accept a review article. It is a good magazine.

Submitted in November 2022, received revision information in January 2023. The opinions given by the two reviewers and the editor were very fair. After the first revision, I received a response in about a week, asking for a second revision. After submitting the second revision in early February, I was informed of acceptance within one day. Overall, it was very fast, and everyone was very nice.
