I regret not checking the comments on letpub before submitting. If I had checked, I definitely wouldn't have submitted it. I submitted it in mid-November and it was sent for external review at the end of December. After a month of external review, I received two minor revision suggestions, but the editor rejected it. One of the reviewers' comments was very strange. If it weren't for the fact that I had this article proofread by a professional editing agency, I would have believed his "poorly written" comment.

In short, the quality of the published articles is just average. I rushed to graduate and submitted it to a lower-tier journal. Now, I will have to make some changes and continue to submit to high-ranking journals in the food industry without relying on this article for graduation.

I do not recommend submitting to this journal as it does not seem very professional.

Trash editor, everyone please do not submit! I submitted in May, and had to revise three times according to the reviewer's suggestions. All three reviewers approved and agreed to publish it. However, this ridiculous editor rejected it based on the opinion of one reviewer. I already revised it and the reviewers approved it. Truly frustrating, encountering such a person is really unlucky. It wasted six months of my time. The epitome of garbage!
