Aims and Scope
Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing (MSSP) is an interdisciplinary journal in Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering with the purpose of reporting scientific advancements of the highest quality arising from new techniques in sensing, instrumentation, signal processing, modelling and control of dynamic systems. MSSP papers are expected to make a demonstrable original contribution to engineering knowledge, which should be significant in terms of advancement over established methods. Especially sought are papers that include both theoretical and experimental aspects, or that include theoretical material of high relevance to practical applications

Submitted in August last year, went through a major revision and a minor revision, and got accepted today.
Both reviewers in the first round requested major revisions and gave positive feedback.
When sent back for revisions, Reviewer 1 did not choose to review it again, so the editor reluctantly found other reviewers. One of them gave a few random reasons for rejection.
In June, I followed up with a sense of being rejected, but the editor gave me minor revisions and asked me to carefully address the reviewer's questions.
I provided various references, literature, and theoretical comparisons to refute the reviewer's unreasonable reasons for rejection, and submitted it.
Two days later, the editor directly accepted it. The lesson learned is that if you have innovation, don't be intimidated by reviewers. Have confidence in appealing and editors have insightful judgment.
