Israeli Mathematics is a comprehensive journal in the field of mathematics. It is a serious journal where top journals are often very serious and require high levels of innovation. In comparison, the journal JDE in the field of equations is not a serious journal, with a significant problem of pseudo-reviewing and a larger number of ordinary and generalized papers. The reason is that in recent years, domestic funding has increased significantly, leading to spending money to invite editors to give reports, establish personal relationships, and rely on connections to submit papers. In contrast, the journal NA has seen a significant improvement in paper quality since its editorial restructuring in 2020, surpassing the average level of JDE. It is hoped that Chinese researchers will pay more attention to the editing of papers and the seriousness of journals when submitting manuscripts, and can learn from the experience of the first and second zones of Fudan Mathematics. A very good mathematics journal, the level should be similar to Indiana Univ. Math. J., but the reviewing process is too slow.
