Aims and Scope
IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control includes the theory, technology, materials, and applications relating to: (1) the generation, transmission, and detection of ultrasonic waves and related phenomena; (2) medical ultrasound, including hyperthermia, bioeffects, tissue characterization and imaging; (3) ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and piezomagnetic materials, including crystals, polycrystalline solids, films, polymers, and composites; (4) frequency control, timing and time distribution, including crystal oscillators and other means of classical frequency control, and atomic, molecular and laser frequency control standards. Areas of interest range from fundamental studies to the design and/or applications of devices and systems.

Submitted on July 20th. Received reviewer's comments on October 7th. Changed three associate editors during the process. Associate editor Mathieson, Andrew. Editor-in-chief Zhang, Shujun. Four reviewers in the first round of review. The innovation of the article was fully recognized. One reviewer pointed out many formatting errors that needed to be corrected. Answered a total of 19 questions. Submitted the revised version as instructed by the editor.
Revised on January 10th. Spent time adjusting the format and layout deliberately.
Received minor revision comments on January 29th. Need to answer a few minor questions.
Submitted the modified manuscript on February 21st.
Accepted on March 14th. The submission process was quite lengthy.

A strong journal in the field of acoustics, most of the publications in this journal are related to ultrasonic detection devices or methods, with a focus on system design. Recently, several papers combining neural networks and AI with ultrasonic detection methods have also been published in this journal. The editors and reviewers are quite nice. They require that the system design be comprehensive, targeted, and closely related to ultrasound applications. In contrast, material-focused journals primarily focus on materials and have less emphasis on practical applications. This journal values whether your design truly solves practical acoustic application problems.
