Aims and Scope

An online only, rapid publication journal, Geosynthetics International – an official journal of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) – publishes the best information on current geosynthetics technology in research, design innovation, new materials and construction practice.

Topics covered

The whole of geosynthetic materials (including natural fibre products) such as research, behaviour, performance analysis, testing, design, construction methods, case histories and field experience. Geosynthetics International is received by all members of the IGS as part of their membership, and is published in e-only format six times a year.

The Brits are still sassy. The submission needs to be edited for improvement as per the requirements of the editorial department. It must be completed within five days. After searching, only the organization designated by the Institution of Civil Engineers in the UK can do the job. Once the editing is done, it will mainly involve improving the prepositions. After submitting the proof of editing, it will be sent for external review. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly. P.S: There is quite a significant difference in the partition decline between 2020 and 2021.

External review took two months, with three external review experts. One recommended major revisions, one advised against publication, and another just raised questions without providing a direct decision of acceptance or rejection. In the end, the editorial department decided to reject the manuscript.
