Aims and Scope
Electrochemistry (Denki Kagaku oyobi Kogyobutsurikagaku) was divided into an on-line journal, Electrochemisty and a magazine Denki Kagaku from 2018. Electrochemistry is devoted to the publication of Research papers (Articles, Technological Reports, Notes, Communications, Comprehensive Papers, and Reviews) written in English and Japanese in the field of electrochemistry and applied physical chemistry. Denki Kagaku is a separate magazine to the members of The Electrochemical Society of Japan (ECSJ).

Overall, the speed is very fast. It has caused a delay in my thesis timeline, so those who are in a similar situation should consider it. Additionally, the journal has now switched to an OA (Open Access) system, so there may be some improvement in the impact factor. The fees are also reasonable.
One thing to note is that, unlike other systems, when communicating with the boss, I cannot see any progress information within the notification system. Only the boss's account can see it. So, it is important to remind the boss to check emails and log into the account to view the progress.
